Matt Ryan is catching heat, Coach Smith is catching heat but the offensive coordinator is REALLY catching heat, and rightfully so in my opinion.

i think this is what's up
they changed that rule where a player down(actually fumbled) blown dead can now be overturned by challenge, and possession can change if clearly recovered by other team
but they don't have any rule where if the play is ruled an incomplete pass, it can can be changed to a fumble through challenge then awarded to other team if clearly recovered
so if fox challenged yesterday, ball would have been placed where denver recovered the ball but steelers would have maintained possession, so fox would have been challenging for a 1/2 yard loss on the play
rule will probably be put in place for next season now, refs off the hook because broncos won

I don't know if it's more a reflection on Ryan or the entire Falcons team over the past few years, but Ryan is something like 26-4 at home and barely above .500 on the road.
