2 words on why Glavine was cut - Tommy Hanson. He's been amazing at AAA this year (1.49 ERA and .169 opponents’ batting average, with 90 strikeouts and 17 walks in 66-1/3 innings) and regularly throws 95-96 mph and has even been clocked at 99 mph occasionally. He's now been called up and is starting Saturday.
