I'm so proud of BBB, he's finally learned to cut & paste and is obviously VERY proud of that.

Beth said...

Of course in about 2 hours LOV will be contacted by an attorney for ESPN talking about copyright infringement...

blue said...

look at beth using big lawyerly words like enfringement

Beth said...

I is smart Blue!

blue said...

and I thought the only fringe that beth knew about was the fringe on her skirt.

we will refer all lawyers to beth.

tem said...

TMQ is the equivalent of blank slate.

there was not intense feelings of hate towards the TMQ post...so they'll get his reader animadversions post from today too when it goes up.

I said "Amen" for them...I felt like the other readers were leaving that guy hanging.

Beth said...

Blue, you forgot the "@ Mr. Ed" before your amen...

Shamhoff readers still use "dadgum". This explains everything. Blue you should have used a "gosh darnit" in your second comment.

MC Carthy's kid with Jim Carey autistic, right?

isiah thomas said...

the Obi Wan "time of my life" song to Luke was piss your pants funny.

isiah thomas said...

MC Carthy's kid with Jim Carey autistic, right?

Is that Jim's kid? I saw her on a mag cover when I was at the sto the other day.

Tyler said...

I knew it had to be you Zeke. Nice run about coffee and the "i am new to the interweb. i found this blog by typing in 'lemmings, sports, plowing' into google.com" comment was genius.

isiah thomas said...

what is deadspin?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

Did Shammy already delete some comments?

isiah thomas said...

that was me, I made a Darth Doodie

this was just a random quote, I'm not management, I can't take credit for that level of genius (ns).

Like DTM, we'll never know who it is.

isiah thomas said...

and FH, EXCELLENT post. (NS).

Creative and funny, and more than 1 scroll - it pleases the masses.

Tyler said...

I went to the grocery store last night and I saw that same mag with her on it. They said on the cover that it was his kid. I think it was about dealing with autistic kids if you didn't want to euthanize them.

isiah thomas said...

I deleted the FG episode after I watched it, I'm such a fucking numskull.

isiah thomas said...

and when Obi Wan's light saber was limp until he saw Luke....that was funny also.

El Padrino said...

it's not jims kid
some tool she was with

blue said...

jim is just the "autistic whisperer" he can "cure" autism according to Jenny Mac...and yes she's fine as hell

Tyler said...

I kept it on my DVR. I also still have the Robot Chicken episode they talk about at the end of the Family Guy episode. I thought that was funnier than FG. FG was just Star Wars, RC was a bunch of different shorts that were really funny.

blue said...

hahahaha, he locked the comments down.

blue said...

"marion wants out of phoenix"

way to try and flip it shawn..they've been shopping you all summer, now you say you want out?

Tyler said...

MC Carthy's still hot. But I like her better with her natural (dark) hair. She looks dirty like that. I would do El P unspeakable type things with her.

blue said...

she lost it for a little bit, but damn if she didn't come back with a vengeance.

isiah thomas said...

way to try and flip it shawn..they've been shopping you all summer, now you say you want out?

Marion just wants an extension, and maybe his balls cupped by Steve Kerr.

tem said...

kerr would be game.

isiah thomas said...

I got a few Talib joints on the pizzle, its always good listening.

tem said...

shamford shut it down?

tem said...

jenny m is awesome.

tem said...

what movie has her nekkid?

tem said...

and FG star wars was great.

i hope they do empire soon (NS).

blue said...

yeah, it's not carrey's kid, he is childless I believe

tem said...

i loved it when meg was the thing in the big trash can.

i figured she'd be jaba, but he wasn't really in the first one i guess.

blue said...

wow that UAW strike lasted a long time didn't it.

i think the strike was because management wouldn't let the UAW change casual fridays to wacky wednesdays.

they relented after sharing some coffee.

tem said...

From the idiotic quotes at WWL:

"Hey Shawn, if you want 20 million a year, try playing the lottery. "

I don't know what lottery this fool plays, but I don't know any that kick off dollars 20 million a year.

blue said...

that would be a pretty big lotto payout

tem said...

20M$ a year for 30 years would be like eleventy zillion dollars.

or 600 billion.

blue said...

600 Million

Tyler said...

Negative on the Black Star. I've asked everyone I know and they all say, "No, but if you get it, send it my way". I think I've gotta pay full price for that at some point cuz you can't find their stuff used either.

blue said...

which would be almost double the size of the largest payout in lotto history

Tyler said...

I don't think anyone is giving Marion 20 Mil$/yr.

tem said...

i would pay infinity dollars to see jenna and jenny going at it.

tem said...

i would pay more than that to join in.

Tyler said...

She lives in The Sherm. I heard a rumor that she's already filmed a guest spot on the new FOX show entitled "The Sherm".

isiah thomas said...

Marion for AK47 would be disastrous on many levels.

blue said...

according to the eSPN article, the suns had Marion traded and an extension offer for him in the KG deal, but Shawn didn't like the cold winters in Boston

Tyler said...

FH is right. Her kid is with actor/director John Asher.

blue said...

The sherm is bringing in the big stars

tem said...

i might move to the sherm.

after i win that 600 billion lottery.

Tyler said...

I think the Jazz are stuck with AK47. They either hold him to his contract (and then I think he gets forced into a sixth man role) or they buy him out. His contract is too huge to move.

TDiLoVH 9/26/06

Ok, so last year there were two posts, one by Zeke and one by Rev. Zeke posted first with a title that still makes me laugh: "Upon further review, Ed Hoculi says its Tuesday". He runs down the major events of the day which are, the Saints winning their home opener on MNF (but that it was possibly rigged), more football news (Leinart taking over for Warner: basically the opposite of what's happening right now), the Madden jinx (SA=out) and then some baseball news.

There are 154 comments for this post.

Rev went to a "Why Not Us"/Astros game. Bullpen collapse for WNU and they blew the game. WNU were only a couple of games back at that point. I wonder how that ended?

Rev is happy for the Aints because they won their first homegame.

WC echoing Zeke's thoughts about the game being rigged.

Zeke says that later that night The Contender Finale will be on. He likes Steve Forbes. Rev makes a Steve Forbes (the presidential candidate)/flat fax reference. I think this was a joke, but it receives zero laughs. The silence is deafening.

The plot to get an LoV reference in a SG chat begins. There is some confusion as to what day/time the chat is supposed to start. We were not that coordinated in our sabotaging efforts back then.

Zeke with some notes for Bush Senior for the next time he has to flip a coin at a football game.

Rev just "pimped" LoV at Shamhoff's. Rev has high hopes that Shamhoff will add LoV to his blogroll. I sense this will end badly.

The group disagrees with TMQ's position on punting (TMQ=it's stupid, you should always go for it on fourth down. Everyone else=WTF TMQ?). Temwr will punch TMQ in the face if they ever meet in real life. Someone please set this up. I will pay cash money to see this happen. And I'll probably buy it on DVD.

IAM with "wow, the people on shanoffs blog are tools, eh?" and then I think he drops the first ever "BEST THING EVAR!!11". I sense some trends developing.

IAM left a comment on Shamhoff's blog but the DS crew totally misinterprets his sarcasm. And so it begins.

Zeke lists his Top 5 Sports. Says boxing is underrated.

It's now approaching Defcon 3 over at Shamhoff's.

temwr brags about how good his kickers are in the fantasy league and that you do not want to fuck with them.

Rev lists his Top 5 Sports. His #1 is a cop out (MLB or NFL, depending on the time of year).

More Shamhoff talk.

mound of venus pops in with the betting lines on every pro football game for the week.

Everyone starts providing their Top 5 Sports in list form.

Lots of betting talk. stiggy pops in with a Top 5 list.

The man known as Martin Van Nostrand (from parts unknown) pops in with a list of his Top 5 Sports. I miss MVN. When all of this is over with he and I should get an apartment together.

More talk about the Saints game the night before. Archie Manning bashing begins.

Spiff with a great comment: "maas and theismann need to team up in the future". Someone at FOX or NBC or whatever needs to make this happen. NFL Network, what you got?

TJW with a completely random link to an old Ben Johnson interview. WTF? He also says that the website is mainly in French (because it's a French-Canadian site) and that part of the interview is in French. Again, WTF? This was his only comment of the day. Noone pays attention to him or his link.

Los scoops everyone on the T.O. suicide attempt news.

T.O. comedy ensues.

Ok, I guess Rev posted the next day's post but forgot to change the time so technically posted on Tuesday. I will do this one tomorrow because, A. the post itself is a legitimate 19 scroller (Jesus Christ, Rev), and B. there are 250 comments.

Tyler said...

Wow, that was a TMQ like recap. I should cut these things down.

blue said...

"Rev just "pimped" LoV at Shamhoff's. Rev has high hopes that Shamhoff will add LoV to his blogroll. I sense this will end badly."

The length is good.

If it's not that long, you lose some of the history.

This is not the abridged version.

I'm going to do a shamhoff recap of TDiH

El Padrino said...

of course it was rigged
they fumbled the kickoff

El Padrino said...

then vick just "dropped the ball" on the next possesion

blue said...

BBB was on his high zorse with his first comment...ridiculing a shamhoff for suggesting the coach should be suspended for his players transgressions (bengals i'm guessing)

zeke lofts a couple of bombs

bbb with some Whitlock hatred...lots of feedback from whitlock lovers.

bbb with a 2 scroller comment about how he hates whitlock, scoop, woody paige, jay mariotti...pretty much all writers....but now has respekt for whitlock

bbb with 4 scroller about racism

rev with his own 4 scroller about racism

h makes an appearance to talk about football...there is a guy there called "danthemanwise"...is this DTM?

tem said...

Rev pimps LoV in the comments..bbb comes correct teaching fools about spam scanner and the @...

some dude makes a comment "and apparently in ohio we know what spam filters are.

oh, and national championships."...how's that NC working out for you?

blue said...

blue said...

I just wanted to read all the witty banter between LoV and the shamhoff's on that day.

Big Brother's Brother said...

ftr, i saw Scoop on OTL on a sunday morning.. and he talked over the top of the other guest and mumbled his entire long-winded opinion.

then the guest was asked to respond and deadpanned "i like Scoop, but i have no idea what he just said."

i laughed heartily cause i dont think human ears could interpret what (sorry miss) jackson had said.

isiah thomas said...

"remember when" is the lowest form of conversation

lighten up deke, this is from Tony Soprano's mouth.

Big Brother's Brother said...

El Padrino said...

I saw highlights this AM (on First Take) of PBF and Cuban on Dancing With the Stars.....

PBF looked legit, Cuban looked horrible.

Did anyone peep game on the complete performance of either of these two?

*don't lie

isiah thomas said...

I don't think its organic per se but the ingredients read : peanuts

Tyler said...

El Padrino said...

Spaceman Spiff said...
